Key Responsibilities 

Gardening and Landscaping Tasks 

• Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery according to design plans. 

• Perform routine maintenance, such as weeding, pruning, watering, mulching, and fertilizing. 

• Remove debris, leaves, and other waste to keep garden areas clean and presentable. 

Tool and Equipment Operation 

• Operate gardening tools and equipment such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and trimmers safely and effectively. 

• Perform routine checks on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning. 

• Report any damaged or malfunctioning tools to the Gardener Crew Lead promptly. 

Safety and Compliance 

• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. 

• Report any hazards, incidents, or safety concerns to the Gardener Crew Lead immediately. 

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents. 

Team Collaboration 

• Work closely with the gardening team to complete tasks and meet project deadlines. 

• Take direction from the Gardener Crew Lead and assist with additional tasks as needed. 

• Communicate effectively to ensure a cohesive and productive team environment. 

Qualifications and Skills 

Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or a similar role (an asset but not required). 

Skills 

• Basic knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care. 

• Ability to use gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
