Horizon is seeking a team-minded individual with a construction background to be responsible for total delivery of a wide variety of projects.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager at Horizon Builders, the successful candidate will be expected to perform tasks including, but not limited to;

  • Plan & Schedule multiple construction projects ranging in value and scope.
  • Administration and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and own forces crews.
  • Manage project budget & financials and provide monthly and quarterly reporting using Sage Construction Management.
  • Report to the company President and Operations Manager.
  • Review and negotiate subcontracts to find revenue opportunities.
  • RFI, Shop Drawing, Contract Change Management.
  • Enforcement of schedule and productivity.
  • Effectively work with Estimating staff to determine project budgets
  • Lead and develop Office and Site staff to achieve Quality, Safety, and Productivity goals.
  • Safety & Workforce Management

Relevant Qualifications:

  • Construction Management or Engineering-related Education
  • Experience in construction, in a General Contracting environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite software.
  • Experience with Sage Construction Management or other Construction Management software would be considered an asset.
  • Able to read and understand Construction Documents (Plans, Specifications, CCDC Contracts, Schedule/Gantt charts)

The Supervisor will oversee necessary scheduling, adherence to regulations and codes, and other details associated with our projects in order to stay focused and efficient for todays competitive construction market.
