We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our excavation team. If you’re confident on the controls, committed to safety, and ready to move earth with precision, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Operating a variety of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, trenchers, and more
Performing tasks such as site prep, trenching, grading, digging, and backfilling
Conducting daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Following safety procedures, using proper PPE, and reporting any hazards
Communicating with supervisors and crew to stay aligned on project goals
Assisting with site setup, cleanup, and equipment transport
Completing daily equipment logs and paperwork accurately
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction or excavation
Proficient with a range of equipment and familiar with safe operation procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and follow project specs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Focused, detail-oriented, and safety-first mindset
Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Certifications:
OSHA Safety Certification
Heavy Equipment Operator Certification
First Aid and CPR
