Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Provide guidance and support to apprentices or less experienced electricians

Skills and Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Electrician License/Certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a journeyperson electrician is preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage, fire alarm, conduit bending
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
• Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
