We’re looking for a confident and customer-focused Garden Centre Sales Specialist to be the go-to expert for our products and services. If you have a passion for plants, landscaping materials, and helping people find the right solution, this role offers a perfect blend of sales, service, and leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Promoting and selling products and services with expert knowledge and enthusiasm
• Helping customers select the right materials and arranging deliveries or pickups
• Building lasting customer relationships and encouraging repeat business
• Resolving customer issues promptly and professionally
• Reaching and exceeding sales targets on a consistent schedule
• Coordinating with internal teams for accurate orders, deliveries, and project planning
• Processing walk-in, phone, and online orders, including quoting and estimating material needs
• Managing product inventory, keeping stock levels accurate and up-to-date
• Tracking daily use, loss, and internal orders for retail and installation projects
• Mentoring cashiers and junior staff, supporting training and team development
• Contributing to marketing initiatives and providing regular reports on trends, customer needs, and sales performance

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven sales and customer service experience—garden centre or landscaping industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscaping products, including precast concrete (Barkman, Expocrete, etc.)
• Motivated and goal-oriented, with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), QuickBooks, and POS systems
• Comfortable working weekends and during peak seasonal periods
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
