Key Responsibilities 

Yard Maintenance Tasks 

• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, debris pickup, and seasonal cleanup to maintain lawns. 

• Assist with seasonal tasks such as aeration, overseeding, and cleanups. 

• Remove debris, leaves, and other waste to maintain a clean and tidy appearance. 

Equipment Operation and Maintenance 

• Operate yardcare equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently. 

• Inspect tools and equipment daily to ensure they are in proper working condition. 

• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Crew Lead. 

Safety and Compliance 

• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to prevent injuries and ensure a safe work environment. 

• Wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. 

• Report any incidents, hazards, or safety concerns to the Crew Lead promptly. 

Team Collaboration 

• Work collaboratively with the crew to complete daily tasks and meet client expectations. 

• Take direction from the Crew Lead and assist other team members as needed. 

• Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and task completion. 

Qualifications and Skills 

Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). 

• Previous experience in yardcare, landscaping, or a related field (an asset but not required). 

Skills 

• Basic knowledge of lawn and garden maintenance practices. 

• Ability to operate yardcare tools and equipment safely and efficiently. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. 

• Effective communication and teamwork skills. 

Job Requirements 

• Physically capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions. 

• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in both hot and cold climates. 

• Consistent availability, 7 days a week; requires early mornings, evenings, and weekends during peak seasons. 

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record.
